Special Bible Studies: These studies have been especially in demand consistently for quite a
while now - hundreds of copies of them have gone out with many distributed widely - you really
should look to see if you have them already. We have heard of many stories of lives changed by
these studies and there are surely many stories we haven't heard.

New Scripture quotes: I have added more scripture quotes to encourage you in addition to
the one that has been there from the beginning. I have also included inspirational quotes from
various writers that I found especially meaningful.

Worship for Children: Children from Pre-K through Middle School age are invited to join a
worship activity designed especially for them at 10 am each Sunday. If you are interested, you
should see Toni or David. For children in Carol's Sunday School class, Communion is offered
during the Sunday School time when it is offered in the main service so that those joining in the
Kid's Worship can be included also. Individual children in the younger Sunday School class may
ask their teacher to allow them to briefly join Carol's class for Communion on those Sundays;
that class is not included as a whole as not all children of that age are ready for that.

class. We meet on Wednesday evenings during the teaching (the same time the Youth Group
meets) after the worship. We also offer activities designed for this age group to help children
learn to enjoy being in His family together. It has been exciting to see the beginning of what will
surely enrich many lives. We did many things together in 2007 and look forward to many more
happy times together in the future. Of course, the children are encouraged to invite friends their
age who've never been to our church to join them for this and any of our times together
(perhaps their family will then decide to visit us, but even if they don't, it could still benefit them
and their families greatly if they see Jesus which is our prayer).

Jesus Kids:Our next event is Saturday, March 15: Winter hike along the Cliff Walk Trail on
Great Island in Harpswell. There are breathtaking views along the top of the cliff. The hike is
not especially difficult although a bit challenging in places. We will meet at the chapel at 10:00.
We also have a movie night on Friday afternoon, March 28. We will be watching Evan Almighty
which many of the kids have already seen but would enjoy seeing again together. We look
forward to having as many of the Jesus Kids come with us as possible. The age is that of Carol's
Sunday School class - either children who are in her class or children who would be in her class
if they came on a Sunday. We have really enjoyed having their friends join us on these activities.
